In February 2018, the City of Los Angeles released the world’s 38th resilience strategy, a visionary and concrete plan designed to ensure the next generations of Angelenos have a resilient future through steps taken today, while keeping long-term aspirations in mind.
Through Mayor Garcetti’s bold leadership, Resilient Los Angeles commits to 96 actions that help the city prepare for inevitable shocks and stresses – from earthquakes and wildfires to homelessness and the effects of climate change.
