Kent County Council is recruiting a Senior Resilience Officer to its Resilience & Emergency Planning service.

This is a permanent full-time position, 37 hours a week that will be based in the Kent Resilience Team (KRT) at Kent Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters in Tovil, Maidstone.

The KRT is an exciting initiative which brings together Kent County Council, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Kent Police, and other category one responders in a single location. This provides an exceptional opportunity to combine the key organisations with responsibilities for responding to and recovering from emergencies or disasters, providing a more efficient, joined up and proactive service to the communities of Kent.

The KRT is the delivery arm of the Kent Resilience Forum, a multi-agency partnership made up of 18 organisations. The team’s main aim is to develop and improve resilience in Kent and it does this through multi-agency risk assessment, planning, training, awareness-raising, and evaluation.
